Halloween 2012

Jordan's pumpkin she picked from the Wheststone pumpkin patch. Corey carved this after Jordan showed him how she wanted the eyes and mouth.

Papa made homemade rootbeer and Jordan got to stir. She loved it!

A pirate pup and baby elephant. Jordan even let me put eyeliner on her eyes.

Kendall was the cutest lil elephant!

Jordan's costume in full. The Tuesday before Halloween they were able to wear their costumes for preschool, Miss Kara had a Halloween party! Jordan had a blast and loved trick-or-treating. Holidays are so fun with children. Love them!

Field trip to the farm

For Jordan's preschool we went to a farm in Whetstone. They had a lawn mower ride and a horse carriage ride, along with farm animals and a pumpkin patch. It was tons of fun. Jordan even got to pick out a Halloween pumpkin. Dad carved it and Jordan was thrilled. Jordan loves her preschool.

Fall pics

I was in the bathroom and when I came out Jordan said, "look mom sister's a princess". I was laughing pretty good.

This is a rare moment when she loves her dolls.

Kendall's favorite toy!

Love this picture of Kendall.

Love this picture of Jordan. I rarely straighten her hair and when I do I get to see the length and she looks so grown up when it's straight.

Fall fun

We took Jordan to the Fall Carnival this year. She wanted to ride the first ride with me which was the dragon roller coaster. Then she rode everything else all by herself and she had a blast. But I think Corey and I had more fun watching her.

This pic is when we went to Miller Canyon and had a picnic by the creek. It was a beautiful Saturday.

Corey surprised me with a beautiful Fall bouquet just because he loves me. ;)

This was taken after the Fall Carnival, she was so tired she fell asleep on my bed watching a cartoon. Love her!

Kendall loving life while watching her sister jump on the trampoline below.

I am so grateful to be these girls' mom, I thank my Heavenly Father every day for these two blessings. Corey and I can't get enough of these two.

4 month check up

In the beginning of October Kendall had her 4 month check up. She weighs a whopping 16 lbs. and is 27 inches long. She is in the 85th percentile for her weight and 99th percentile for her height. She is a tall slightly chunky baby. And boy is she fun. She absolutely loves her little life, at least that's what she tells us through her little smiles and her baby talk. Kendall loves to talk, she will grab your face and just coo all day long and look at you right in the eye while doing so. I love it! Here are a few things Kendall loves:
being cuddled and comfy
her binky
cooing
her toys
her big sister
daddy and mommy ;)
being cool not hot
the car
being tickled
her bath

Jordan has to hold Kendall at least twice a day. They have so much fun together already.

Kendall started eating rice cereal the 2nd week of October and now she eats it for lunch and dinner. She is a champ with the spoon and we can't wait till we can give her something more tasty.

We were finally able to wear warm clothes, but that didn't last very long because the temps went back up.

I love my happy girls!

School days

September 4, 2012 was Jordan's first day of pre-school. She has been asking to go to school since summer has started. I'm glad because she is so happy to go. Her teacher is one of my good friends Kara. They call her Miss Kara. She has 5 other classmates with her and one of them is her really good friend Reece. I need to get a pic of her class. It's adorable. She goes on Tues. and Thurs. for 2 and a half hours every week. I still can't believe you are old enough for this. Man where does the time go? I love my girls.

last pics of summer

Tummy time. This girl rocks her tummy time and loves it. She'll be laughing while doing it too!

And these two just melt my heart every single day. They can't get enough of each other, it is so fun to watch them interact even when they are so far apart in age.

I'm trying to take more pics of Jordan and her friends. She has tons her age and they all have so much fun together. This is her friend Madison. They are hilarious when they play and have tons of fun.

And of course my sweet baby K. Love her smiles every minute.

time for a check up....

Today Kendall is 9 weeks old and she had her 2 month check up. She weighs 13lbs and 5oz and is 24 inches long. For her height she is in the 96th percentile and for her weight she is in the 95th percentile. So she is a proportionately big baby. In the words of my doctor, haha! She looks good and is very healthy. This baby is so sweet I can't say it enough. She loves her big sister, whenever Jordan comes around she squeals with delight and kicks her little legs like crazy. Jordan gives her pretty rough kisses but Kendall smiles after each one. I'm always saying ok that's enough but Jordan says no mom she's ok. And then I look at Kendall and she has the biggest smile on her face. It makes me one happy mama. Kendall finally loves her crib, she wouldn't sleep in it forever, she would sleep in a chair. So last week it took a really long day to get her to like her crib but now she loves it. She likes her binky sometimes, which helps. I like that it will calm her down especially after getting her shots today. :( She loves her blankets, her big sister, her play time, the car, her baths, other kids, she loves being cuddled and her dad and I of course. :)  But I will say she is a mommy's girl. Which I'll admit I kind of like. She does not like to be overstimulated, bright lights before bedtime and pooping. Sometimes she has a rough time doing that, but it's getting way better now that she is getting older. We love you baby K.
Jordan is growing so big too. This month is her half birthday, she is 3 1/2 years old. This girl is hilarious. Since Kendall has arrived she has had a few more tantrums which is strange for me because she never acted that way with me. But it's understandable, her world has changed drastically. Luckily she is great with her little sister, she loves her so much. And she is a big help for me with a lot of things. I wish I knew Jordan's stats because she is so tall. I know she is taller than 43" and I can't guess her weight but I can hardly carry her anymore. I don't have to of course, it's just if we are playing around I can't do it. Ha! Her shoe size is a 12 and she is in a 5 for pants and a 5 for her shirts sometimes 6 depending on the store (in little girls). Crazy! Her hair is still so curly and getting longer. To see the length I have to straighten it. It's so pretty. I love my two beautiful girls, I am so blessed!

Kendall's blessing

Left to right: Grandma Vika Seiuli, me, Grandpa Brad Taylor, Jordan, Corey holding Kendall, Grandma and Papa, Nana (my Grandma)

I completely forgot to take a pic of just Kendall with her dress on. She was able to wear my blessing dress, so that was exciting.

We had Hawaiian haystacks thanks to my mom and dad. ;) One of my faves.

Jordan received a new toy from Grandma Seiuli, she loves playing with it all the time.

We blessed Kendall on Sunday, August 5, 2012. It was a very sweet blessing given by her daddy. Thanks to our family members who were able to make it. We were so thrilled to have all of you. We love you baby Kendall and are so blessed to have you a part of our family. You have the sweetest disposition ever and you love listening and talking to all of us.
